Gymnastic Competition

On Friday, 22nd April, Trafalgar’s Gymnastics squad took part in the Keysteps 2 and 3 Borough Gymnastics Competition, held at Waldegrave School. Many schools took part and the competition was tough. Each child had to perform a body management routine, a floor routine and 2 vaults. All the early morning and lunchtime training paid off and each gymnast excelled in all of the disciplines.

Both our year 3/4 team and our year 5/6 team won, gaining gold medals! Also, several of our pupils were awarded individual medals for their outstanding performances.

We hope both teams will now represent Richmond Borough at The London Youth Games at Crystal Palace, if this event is able to go ahead.
